Color-Tex had allowed their steam and process water plants to deteriorate – resulting in over 72 outages in 1996. Peregrine Energy performed an extensive evaluation and baseline cost study of the steam plant and a complete economic study of process water usage of 2.5MGD. Peregrine Energy purchased the facility, staffed it, and invested the required capital to implement a new water plant and other savings-related projects
