DuPont Teijin Films U. S. was experiencing extremely high steam costs at its Florence, South Carolina polyester films plant. These costs were the result of operating an oversized, antiquated coal-fired boiler facility that required excessive maintenance and operating attention. Peregrine Energy helped DuPont Teijin significantly reduce these costs by designing and building a properly sized and automated gas-fired boiler plant.
