Utilities for a Major Process Expansion
Mitsubishi Polyester Film, LLC – Greer, South Carolina
When the decision to move forward with a new process line was
finalized, Mitsubishi undertook the project with a very aggressive budget
and schedule. Mitsubishi recognized that cost effective outsourcing of
the new utilities could help them achieve both of these objectives. They
also needed a company experienced in the outsourcing of plant utilities
that could hit the ground running. Peregrine Energy funded the project and assumed all design/build, start-up and training responsibilities. The investment included twelve unit substations and motor control centers located throughout Mitsubishi's plant.
